Research
In today's political environment, fast access to the most accurate and in-depth information available is critical to a successful campaign. Beacon begins its strategic process by developing a dynamic research plan for identifying information sources and gathering data. We compile data and use what we learn to inform all subsequent development and implementation strategies for the campaign. Beacon also formulates strategic methods for organizing and disseminating data in a manner that best fits the overall campaign strategy.

Development
In Beacon's development phase, the media and communications implementation plan takes shape. Harnessing research on the candidate, campaign, competition, and voters, we develop a unified media and communications plan that includes key campaign messages, target media outlets, and communications strategies. While our messaging strategies encourage consistent reaffirmation of the candidate's core values and platform, we strive to keep those messages timely and responsive to changes and variations in the political landscape.

Implementation
Using the media and communications plan as a guidepost, Beacon establishes protocols, formalizes infrastructures, and allocates resources to execute each phase of the plan efficiently and effectively. We implement a strategic press release schedule, reach out to target media outlets and voter segments, manage the production and distribution of media (for print, the Internet, television, and radio), and facilitate coordination between our activities and those of the campaign.

Evaluation
A successful campaign demands constant monitoring and evaluation. By routinely analyzing polling numbers and statistical models, Beacon determines which elements of the communications strategy are proving most effective and which elements are not resonating well with voters. Using this information, we return to the development phase to fine tune the media and communications plan in order to meet the changing needs of the campaign and ensure that its messaging consistently attains maximum impact.
